Our Stock

Braune Farms Beef raises mostly Black Angus Beef.  All of our bulls are Registered Lim-Flex.

 The Calf - Born on the Farm

From birth, our calves are free to roam with their mothers. When a calf is born, it weighs about 60 to 100 pounds. They grow along side their mothers to allow for the natural process of nursing and development.

The Weaning - Raised on the Farm

Our calves are usually weaned from their mother’s milk somewhere between 6 to 10 months of age where they can weigh between 450 and 700 pounds. Our stage 2 calves will all continue to graze on the farm. We often keep a majority of the heifer in order to become mothers for the next year.

 Beef for Purchase - When  Ready

As our cattle mature to the right size, we rotate them through our properties where they spend the remainder of their time grazing. When they grow to an ideal size, we get them ready for processing & purchase.

We have a wide variety of beef cuts and packages available for online purchase.  
We also offer purchasing at our farm by appointment or from one of the 
farmers markets we attend.
